Q. What can I do if I am interested to know about priesthood?


You can contact the Vocation Director of your diocese and you are welcomed to arrange for a stay-in experience with our community.

Q. How do I enroll into College General?


You cannot enroll directly into the college, but you can first approach the Vocation Director of your diocese.

Q. What is the training timeline in College General like?


Our training includes an Initiation Year, followed by two Philosophical Years. The seminarians will then continue their Theology in St Peter College, Kuching.

Q. Does College General train all types of priests?


We focus on the training of diocesan priests, but we do have religious aspirants and diaconate candidates joining us especially for our Initiation Year programme occasionally.

Q. Does College General only accept those who are interested in priesthood?


We focus on the training of seminarians to become future priests, but we do accept lay persons for selected courses, subjected to the approval of the college.

Q. Is the chapel open for the public to attend Mass?


Due to current COVID-19 pandemic, the chapel is closed to the public.

Q. Are the sport facilities in the college available for public use?


Only the badminton court is available for the public to rent.; however, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is closed for the public until further notice.

Q. If I am interested to do some research on the history of College General or other related materials, what can I do?


You may contact the administration office to make the necessary arrangements, but the materials are subjected to their availability and approval from the college.

Q. What if I'm interested to pay a visit to College General?


You may contact the administration office to make the necessary arrangements, but it is subjected to approval from the college. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we do not accept public visit until further notice.
