College General had its Vocation stay-in experience from 23- 26 September 2010. 4 candidates participated in this Vocation stay-in. College General celebrated lecturer’s day on the 21st of September 2010- The Feast of Sts. Chastan and Imbert. Many activities were planned for our lecturers. We began with the Office of Readings followed by Mass(@the Chapel of the Sacred Heart). We also had plenty of FOOD, fellowship and games. We were also joined by our [...] When East meets West, there is much Zest….. or so the saying goes. This was what happened from 29th August 2010 till 1 September 2010. The seminarians and the formators of St. Peter’s College, Kuching visited College General. It was a time of prayer, fellowship, sharing, fun and games. The Chapel of the Sacred Heart [...] PENANG: College General, also known as “The College of Martyrs” celebrated its feast day on Friday, June 18, 2010. This Feast Day commemorates the Vietnamese Martyrs- Sts. Philip Minh and companions, who were canonised by Pope John Paul II in 1988 and who were alumni of College General. The Community of College General I had a life changing experience during my confirmation camp in College General. During this camp, all the sessions taught me a lot of different things. Some opened my eyes and my heart to different possibilities. But the best part about this camp was to be in the place with loads of history on our [...] On Saturday 22 of August ’09, the Penang Island Youth Network organized a sports day, held at College General field. We were invited by the Penang Youth coordinator, Mr. Sudhagaran Stanley, to participate together with 180 youths from around the island. The aim was to integrate the youths from Chinese, English & Tamil speaking communities [...] Mr. Kana, from the Penang Nature Society shared with the College community the benefits and need to recycle and how we continue to pressure Mother Earth. He stressed that we, the human race, continue to exploit Mother Nature without realizing the harm done to ourselves and our future. Shalom and love of Abba Father be with all of you. As I take my step on a new chapter of my life, I would like to express my deep appreciation to College General for giving me this opportunity to share a few words on this page. June 19th was a day of special blessing to sing praises unto the Lord when an overwhelming congregation of about 200 hundred people gathered to celebrate the Feasts of the College Martyrs and the Sacred Heart at the historic chapel up on Mariophille.
